Bishop Eric O. Cain was born July 17, 1961 to Apostle William O. Cain Jr.and Christine E. Cain of Felton Delaware. He graduated from Lake Forest High school in 1980. In 1980 he joined the U.S. Army were he would serve for 13 ½ years (various assignments include Greece, Korea, Hawaii, Ft. Dix, NJ, Ft. Belvoir, VA, and Ft. Hood, TX). It was while he was stationed at Ft. Hood that he met and married the love of his life, Eugenia. They have four children; Eugene, Jasmine, Monique, and Eric II, and five grandchildren; Tiana, Amerie, Anthony, Alicia, and Brittney.
It was prophesied to him at a young age that he would be a Pastor, it would be over 30 years before he would answer the call God placed on his life. On July 14, 2000 Bishop Cain re-dedicated his life back to Christ after being away from the church for over twenty years. In 2001 God gave him the name of the ministry, but not the location, and it would come to pass 3 ½ years later in Copperas Cove Texas. In August 2004 Truth and Deliverance Ministries was founded.
Bishop Cain’s test and trials would not be evident until he relocated the ministry from its former location to its current location. This location has been a true testament of faith in God, with little God truly blesses in abundance. Bishop Cain endures the struggles, hardships, and trials, through the power of God, which would make him a “faith based teacher.” The Word of God tells us that “too much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:48). God has required that Bishop Cain walk out the vision he has given him, which requires faith and perseverance, and he is developing both. God continues to provide and prove Himself to Bishop Cain and his family.
He served under Pastor Stephen Zarriello, of Wahiawa Door of Faith, in Wahiawa Hawaii where he taught Sunday school, Men’s Ministry, and served as a Deacon. His ministry would continue as he would learn to operate television cameras and set up studio lighting. He also served as Armor Bearer to the Pastor. He would continue being taught and prepared under the leadership of Apostle R. Coda of Restoration Christian Center, Mililani Hawaii. There he became part of the ministry team of teaching, instructing, outreach, and feeding the homeless. In August 2003-July 2004 he would teach Sunday school and lead the men’s ministry at Deliverance Church of God, under Bishop Tyrone Brown Sr. God would continue to prepare him for the work ahead through intensive studies throughout the Bible challenging him to go further and higher for his calling. He was ordained as minister in May 2003; as a Pastor in August 2005; and as a Bishop in February 2012.
Bishop Cain is a true servant of God and has a great love for God and God's people. As the pastor and founder of Truth and Deliverance Ministries, his faith and trust in God has brought him through many tough and trying times. God is truly the author and finisher of his faith. The path God has chosen for him is a long one, but through Christ who will gives him the strength he continues to persevere.
Prophetess Eugenia E. Cain was born to Eugene and Lucille of Georgetown S.C. She is from New Haven Connecticut. She gave her life to Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit in November 1999. She would learn the true meaning of loving Christ through her many trials and tribulations. She would embark on a crucial journey that would lead her to discover the joys of serving Christ and the pitfalls of being called to service. Although her journey would take many turns she was still able to see the goodness of the Lord. She met and fell in love with Eric O. Cain while serving in the military and they would marry. They have four children and five grandchildren. She is retired from the military and continues to work in the kingdom of God.
Prophetess Cain answered the call to further her walk with the Lord by working in ministry in Hawaii. She was taught under Pastor Stephen Zarriello, of Wahiawa Door of Faith, in Wahiawa Hawaii, where she learned American Sign Language to communicate with the deaf; led women’s ministry; sang with the Praise and Worship Team; and worked in a television studio as a certified producer to assist in broadcasting of her pastor’s messages. Further teaching and ministry would come from Restoration Christian Center of Mililani, Hawaii under Pastor R. Coda. She was part of the Usher’s Board, led praise and worship; feed the homeless, street ministry, taught children’s Sunday school, and various other ministries to prepare her for her future duties. She became an ordained Minister in May 2003. Later she would be ordained as an Evangelist in August 2006. This would not be the end of her ministry, as for God had a different direction for her to go. Alongside her husband, she would become an intricate part of Truth and Deliverance Ministries as the mouth piece of God. God chooses those who society would not.
In 2010 she was ordained as a Prophetess of God and would rightly take her position in which God chose her for. His Word tells us that He knew us while we were formed in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5). God anointed and appointed Eugenia for a time such as this. Although many were called, few were chosen and in the selection process, she will be tried in the fire, only to be perfected for His use and His glory.
Prophetess Cain is the Praise and Worship leader, Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent of schools, sits on the Board of Trustees, the church secretary, wife, and mother. Her duties may be many, but her love for God and God’s people does not make it a duty, it is an honor. With her husband and two of their children, their labor for ministry is with love. God prepares and equips them for the work ahead.
She is a graduate of Excelsior College in Sociology and continues to strive for educational excellence through studying the Word of God.
